Service 02 — clinicals, student teaching, field hours

Practicum and internship placement.

The normal way to find a preceptor is months of unanswered cold emails. Ours is a working network of sites across all 50 states, a three-week average match, and paperwork carried through final approval. You keep earning your hours; we keep supplying the places to earn them.

A network beats a search engine.

Placement fails for most students because they start from zero: no contacts, no idea which sites accept students, no leverage when an office manager stops replying. We start from a live network of preceptors and sites that have taken our students before, filtered by your program's requirements, your specialty and your geography. That is why the average match here lands around three weeks while solo searches drag across semesters.

Matching is also where most services stop, and where the real work begins. Schools reject placements over paperwork more often than over people, so the affiliation agreement, the preceptor's credentials file and the school's own forms get prepared and filed by us, not left on your kitchen table.

Who books this service.

Nursing dominates: NP, MSN and DNP students whose programs require them to source their own preceptor and who discover that requirement is the hardest course in the degree. Education students needing student-teaching placements and counseling or social work students needing field hours make up the rest of the queue.

Geography rarely blocks a match. The network spans all 50 states, including the rural stretches where students assume nothing exists, and telehealth rotations fill gaps where your program permits them.

The fall-through plan is part of the product.

Sites close, preceptors change jobs, clinics get bought. When it happens mid-rotation, the backup plan activates: an alternate site from the same network, paperwork restarted by people who have done it at speed, and your completed hours documented so they are not argued about later. A placement service that ends at the introduction is a referral, not a service.

What we promise, written down.

The match timeline, the site profile and the paperwork scope all appear in your quote before money moves. If a placement stalls on our side, you hear about it while there is still time to act on it, and the affected portion of the fee follows our refund terms. Every coordinator touching your file is NDA-bound, and your school only ever sees standard placement paperwork.

How it works.

1

Profile the rotation

Program, specialty, required hours, state and deadline. The quote is free and back within two hours.

2

Meet your match

A vetted preceptor or site from the network, usually inside three weeks, with credentials your school will accept.

3

Paperwork to approval

Agreements filed, logs and evaluations maintained, backup plan on standby until the rotation completes.

Questions students actually ask.

How long does it take to get matched with a preceptor?

The running average is about three weeks from intake to a named preceptor or site, though specialty and location move it in both directions. Psychiatric and rural placements can take longer; common specialties in metro areas often close faster. Your quote includes a timeline estimate for your actual profile, not the average.

Which states and specialties can you place in?

All 50 states, through a network of sites that have hosted our students before. Specialties cover the common NP tracks, RN-to-BSN clinical requirements, student teaching, counseling and social work field hours. If your combination is unusual, the intake review says so honestly before you pay anything.

What happens if my site falls through mid-rotation?

The backup plan activates immediately: an alternate site is pulled from the network, the paperwork restarts on our side, and your already-completed hours get documented and defended. Fall-throughs are exactly why the service includes a standing plan B instead of treating each placement as finished at the handshake.

Do you handle the school's paperwork too?

Yes, and it is half the value. Affiliation agreements, preceptor credential files, school-specific forms, hour logs and evaluations all get prepared, filed and tracked through approval. Most placement disasters are paperwork disasters, so the documents are treated as part of the placement, not an add-on.

What does placement cost?

It is quoted per placement after a free intake review, which takes about two hours to turn around. Pricing reflects specialty, state and timeline pressure rather than a flat menu, and the number you approve covers matching plus the paperwork scope described in the quote, with no surprise add-ons mid-rotation.
