Network matches typically close in weeks, where solo cold outreach commonly consumes a semester or more. Your specialty and state set the exact pace: common tracks in populated regions move fastest, psychiatric and rural matches take longer, and your intake reply includes a timeline estimate for your specific profile rather than a brochure number.
My program has strict preceptor requirements. Can you still match me?
Strict requirements are normal and get handled at intake: minimum credential levels, specialty alignment, hour types, sometimes bans on certain site categories. The network is filtered against your program's actual rulebook before any match is proposed, which prevents the classic disaster of securing a preceptor the school then refuses.
What if the site falls through before my rotation starts?
A backup path is part of the engagement, not an upsell. Capacity changes, staff turnover and clinic closures happen on their own schedule, so an alternative is identified alongside your primary match and the paperwork machinery restarts immediately if it is ever needed. One fall-through should cost days of adjustment, not a deferred graduation.
Do you handle the school paperwork or just the introduction?
Through to approval. Affiliation agreements, credential packets, program forms and the chasing of signatures all sit on our side, tracked against your school's deadlines. The introduction is the easy half; placements die in the document phase, so the document phase is treated as the core of the service.
